The Institute of Rehabilitative Sciences (IRS) will host a Balik-Talent Lecture with theme, “Pediatrics Physical Therapy: Assessment” at the Angelo King (AK) Lecture Room 1, July 25, 2018.
IRS welcomes alumna Dr. Theresa Marie F. Siquioco-Lugatiman, a registered physical therapist (PT) and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), as the speaker for the upcoming discussion. Siquioco-Lugatiman is a member of the PT Class of 2001.
An earlier lecture, conducted last June, was on the topic, “Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) vs Central Sensitization,” delivered by alumnus Dr. Michael Angelo C. Dueñas, also a doctorate degree holder in physical therapy.
The Balik-Talent Lecture aims to provide insights on the field for current PT students, particularly the seniors, through the speakers who have extensive knowledge and long experience in the profession.
