To promote Accountancy and Business Management (ABM) Track offered in Silliman University, the College of Business Administration (CBA) toured incoming Senior High Schools students of Dumaguete City in their college, last Aug. 22 to 25.

Grade 10 students from five different high schools namely Negros Oriental High School (NOHS), Ramon Teves Pastor Memorial Dumaguete Science High School (RTPM-DSHS), Holy Cross High School, Saint Louis School-Don Bosco and Dumaguete City High School were introduced by CBA department chairs to the programs, activities, projects, and events that happen annually both in CBA and ABM track.

CBA Dean, Dr. Gloria G. Futalan, said: “This is a way of marketing Silliman education to a variety of students especially the ABM track. The [Grade 10] students would be given inputs on the choices that they would make, if ever they would see that Silliman is the better option for them.”

She shared that the tour would showcase what CBA has to offer, especially that the ABM track in the previous years was efficient and effective.

The grade 10 students are toured by the different department chairs of the College of Business Administration.

Aside from ABM, Silliman University Senior High School offers Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEAM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS), Technology and Vocational (TECH VOC), and Arts and Design.
