FIRST-TIME ENROLLEES MAY choose not to come to Silliman University for enrolment as both entering and continuing students are encouraged to enrol online for next school year.
Annabelle Pa-a, Registrar and Admissions officer, said incoming freshmen can now fill out application forms online. For other necessary documents, they can scan and fax or email them to the Registrar’s. After finishing the registration step, students will receive a confirmation via text or email instructing them how and where to pay their fees.
Once enrolment is confirmed, students must then physically process the acquisition of their identification cards as well as of the health certificates. Examination for the latter should be done at the SU Medical Center.
“This is a welcoming new system that is very convenient to our students. They do not have to come here early since most of the preliminary requirements can be done online,” she said.
Pa-a added that manual enrolment, which requires students to be physically present when enrolling, will still be available for next school year
