The “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” list 2014 edition recognized a Silliman University alumna currently taking a second degree in music in Virginia, USA.
Graduating with a nursing degree in 2008, Danielle Elise Zamar was selected for her “outstanding merit and accomplishment” as a student of music therapy at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.
The “Who’s Who” list is an annual national college student recognition program in the United States of America composed of students selected from more than 2,842 schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Zamar is one of 150 nominated by Shenandoah University to be included in this year’s programs.
As a “Who’s Who” honoree, she is eligible for one of three H. Pettus Randall Scholarships which range from $2,000 to $5,000.
Zamar has worked at the SU Medical Center and taught at the College of Performing and Visual Arts (COPVA).
She is the daughter of COPVA dean, Dr. Elizabeth Susan Suarez.
